Listen closely little one, here’s some things I wished I’d known when I was young.
Settle in now, pull up a pew as I impart my life lessons to you.
I funny thing, that is, the human race; you might discover that it’s hard to find your place.
But it’s ok to fall and you should dare to make mistakes for you’ll learn and grow and time will heal the heartache.

Hold, hold your head high; reach for the sky;
Don’t sweat the small stuff, you’ll always get by.
Give love and you’ll be loved, go follow your dreams love and you’ll be ok.
There’s a few more things I wanted to say…

You should eat new food; stand up for truth;
Work hard at what you love and see it through.
I hope you dare to be different, know yourself and be proud;
Don’t care too much what people think and live out loud.
Keep asking questions; do things that scare you.
Time is precious, how you’ll invest it and who you give it to.
Keep your heart young; sing everyday;
go see the world, travel somewhere faraway
